WeWorld is an independent Italian organisation engaged on development cooperation and humanitarian aid projects for over 50 years, aiming to guarantee the rights of all people, starting with the most vulnerable communities.
WeWorld’s projects – 165 projects in 27 countries including Italy – put at the centre anyone who is on the margins, geographically and/or socially, promoting their human and economic development, so that they can self-determine and become protagonists of their own change.
With more than 10 million direct beneficiaries and 54 million indirect beneficiaries, WeWorld works on human rights, humanitarian aid, food security, water, hygiene and health, education and training, socio-economic development and environmental protection, global citizenship education and international voluntary work.
