Alessandro Cunsolo is a research fellow at University of Milan (Italy). He is finalizing his PhD in Economics, jointly organized by the University of Pavia and the University of Milan, during which he focused on experimental and behavioral economics. His main research interests concerns individual psychological characteristics that affect preferences for redistribution and antisocial behavior in settings characterized by unequal distributions of incomes, particularly focusing on the role of overconfidence and overoptimism on expectations about future mobility.
Through experimental methods, he highlights the effect of psychological factors on economic outcomes (such as income inequalities, prosocial behavior, and donations).
